Kerrie has been involved in the health industry for over 20years, she has a background in dental health, lecturing at Melbourne for 12 years as well as having managed private practices.
Kerrie trained as a Bowen therapist in 2012, in 2013 Kerrie’s husband, a critical care Nurse Practioner, received locum work in the Cocos Islands, taking their 2 children with them they embarked on an adventure. Kerrie worked out of the local hospital treating both locals and tourists, with most referrals coming through the local doctor.
Kerrie’s passion for healthy eating and keeping fit through running, fuels her interest in the body and complete health.
Her main focus is in ergonomics and looking outside the client’s treatment to bring about postural improvement and preventable injuries.
Kerrie can empathise with her clients as she was introduced to Bowen after experiencing severe sciatic pain, which limited her mobility. Bowen impacted Kerrie’s life within a few short weeks, enabling her to be pain free after many years of agony. This sparked a passion in Kerrie to study the wonderful modality of Bowen Therapy.

Volunteering her time on the Bowen Association of Australia committee has been extremely educational and gratifying.
